Hostal located a few metres from metro station Estrecho. Clean, comfortable. I was in an individual room with one single bed, the room was small. There was a sink in the room, shower and toilet were shared. Reception opened 24/7, so late check-in (after midnight) was ok.

My room was small but was exceptionally clean, in fact cleaner than any other hotel room, including some luxury hotels that I have stayed in. The bed was comfy as was the pillow and despite being on the ground floor, noise was minimal at night. The hotel is just around the corner from Estrecho Metro station on line one, which took us into the centre of Madrid very quickly.

The staff is so friendly. We arrived early and he allows us to checkin early. We even got a crib for our toddler. The aircond is cold, its quiet at night, perfect for our one night stay in madrid.
