The room was exactly as depicted in the photos - fairly small but more than adequate for one person. The hotel was well located for the metro, and the museums were easily walkable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Over 50 solo female traveller here. 3 nights. Perfect location. 130mtrs to Puerta del Sol with Sol train station underground. Variety of restaurants including fast food outlets around. All sites within walking distance. I felt very safe and comfortable. Stayed in a single room, small as expected. Facing the road which becomes noisy in the evenings. I sleep well so it never bothered me. If it does, ear plugs are provided in the room. Bathroom is also small. If you’re a larger person it might be a tight squeeze - again, personally, it was not an issue. Large wooden main door is closed at all times. Buzz to enter. Lift available. Hotel on 2nd floor. Host is kind and helpful. Non English speaking but we managed! The location, comfort and safety for me, was key.
