Excellent stay at Hostal Berrera! The room was newly renovated and spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping, fresh towels every day and bed linen changed every two days. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location in Lavapiés, very central and perfect for exploring both the authentic everyday life of the city and the main attractions. We barely needed to use public transport (metro just 3 minutes away). The reception staff were very kind and helpful, also giving us useful tips for places to eat. For its category, this accommodation is truly top!

Even though the room isn’t modern, I appreciate that everything was super clean. The heating was continuously working, which was a plus considering we stayed in March. The receptionists were super nice and helpful and the location is amazing if you want to explore the city.
