Great location. I only needed a room to sleep and that was more than enough for it. Common areas were clean. Staff were so nice and helpful. If you need a basic room, go for it.

The building and the facilities are outdated and have a strange structure, no noise insulation whatsoever, in terms of sound sleeping in my room felt like sleeping in the hallway (my room’s old wooden door didn’t close properly and had a huge gap on its top which surely didn’t help). The area itself is noisy so I heard all the noise from the street as well. I feel like I paid mainly for the location. Staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage there for the day.

One of the best things about this place was the location as it has easy transport access as well as all its walkable around all main sightseeings. The hosts were great, very sweet and kind people, always happy to help

The location is the most positive thing of this place. Also, the price of the place is quite reasonable for what we've got. The owner allows us to have an early check-in which is really needed since we had to visit many places on that day.

The location was great, directly in Madrid Centro, Room was very good clean and comfortable bed and matress. Everything was set as expexted, the place was clean as well.

Hostal Alonso is the best option to stay in Madrid for 2 or 3 days. In spite of the fact that the building is quite old, inside is really good. The beds are amazing and the staff is super friendly.
