The location of Hostal Alaska is amazing! Everything is within walking distance, metro station Sol is just a couple of steps away. The room and the bathroom are spacious. The staff is friendly, we asked for an extra duvet - no problem at all, however, they speak only Spanish. If you are a traveller whose needs are basic and you value location the most, then this is your choice.

It was perfectly located, you can walk or take a train/metro just a few meters from the hostal. The ladies at the reception were always helpful (I made a mistake in the booking dates and they had no problem at all to put me in another room)

Excellent Internet. Busy street yet good insulation. Awez Location, just ignore the irish pub punters et al , you ARE in the puerta del sol, bound to be busy
