The room, sheets and pillow smelled freshly laundered and it indeed was. Everything was very clean. The receptionist who saw my shock at climbing stairs again with my luggage, very kindly helped. Thank you! The location was superb, walking distance to most of the attraction! Comparatively to the other options this was really good for the price paid! Despite being the centre, it was quiet and no noise from outside.

The location was great. Walking distance to Gran Via, plaza Espana, Retiri etc... Lots of cafes and restaurants, grocery stores etc.

Stayed on a one night layover in Madrid, close to station for airport access, walkable to the city. Clean and plenty of room with a friendly reception! We arrived quite late but there were lots of places to eat nearby etc.
