This stylish, modern hotel is located in the south of Madrid, close to the Méndez Álvaro Bus Station. It offers a varied buffet breakfast and free WiFi.
Catalonia El Retiro is situated under 3 km from the Retiro Park and the Art Triangle. It has easy access to the A-3 and M-30 Motorways and a bus stop and Puente de Vallecas Metro Station are just metres from the hotel.

Staff exceptionally friendly. Room very comfortable and breakfasts excellent. Only complaint was that the room was too hot overnight. Air conditioning not available in April and opening the window too noisy. Otherwise superb and a most enjoyable stay.

The towel element was a nice touch. Very clean and really enjoyed the bathtub.

Hotel is easy walk to main bus station and on transport links to everything else. Local neighbourhood is typically bustling and Spanish. Everything was super clean, elegant and comfortable. The main positive for me was the soundproofing - so absolutely no problems with sleeping soundly.
