The host Mrs & Mr Bopaiah were absolutely fantastic. Mr Bopaiah reached out well in advance sharing all details about the stay, place and offering help and guidance on moving around Coorg. Food, especially all the local cuisine, both veg and non veg, was absolutely fantastic. We were lucky to have tried and relished ALL local Coorgi cuisine during our 3 days stay there. Mrs Bopaiah is a great cook. The drive to Misty Retreat is beautiful, driving thru the coffee plantation on both sides was wonderful and relaxing. The room was spacious, clean and all amenities available including hot water all the time. A calm and quiet place yet you feel the warmth of a home....

Overall it was a very good experience staying in this property. Owner and his family is very good and kind hearted and they made my trip a good memory. I can truely say this property felt like a home.

Friendly uncle and Aunty. Uncle guided us for the trips and site seeings. Nice home food prepared by themselves was superb.

Property was truly like a "stay at home" or "stay at friends' home". Hospitality was good. Madikeri style food was good and new for us.
