Black Iris is a unique hotel: very comfortable, with very helpful and hospitable staff, located right in the center of town. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Madaba in all its splendor.

I want to give this hotel 100000/10. We stayed with them at the beginning of the trip and at the end of our trip. Our friends who lost their luggage on british airways were able to deliver the luggage to the hotel because of the excellent communication with the owners. When I tell you it was amazing Jordanian hospitality. We got so much advice and guidance. We parked for free in the lot next to the hotel in our big van. It was safe. They directed us where to valet the van before we went back to the airport. This place is 30 minutes away from the airport. It is clean, comfortable and extreme value for money. The church, archaeological park are minutes away (walking) from the hotel. Mount nebo is about 20 minutes driving. Breakfast is varied, with hot eggs, chicken sausages and a spread of flatbreads, salads and dips. Special mention to Carob House restaurant for the most phenomenal dinner..farm to table.. honestly mind blowing. Amman was only 40 minutes away and we took the kids to the childrens museum which was so much fun and interactive. The beds were comfy, the water hot and great pressure in the bathroom
