This is a very nice hotel with an excellent location in Aguas Calientes. The hotel is only a three minute walk from the train station and close to everything. Staff was super helpful and we were allowed to leave our luggage on our second day, when we did another visit to Machu Picchu. The breakfast is also very good and in a nice location (on a terrace). Overall, we can highly recommend Jaya Machu Picchu.

The view from the expensive superior rooms is nice and far enough away from the noisy train station. The other rooms do not even have a window to the outside, be aware of that when booking. Breakfast room with a view is really nice. Really liked the guy when we checked in during midday (sorry did not ask for your name, but you made the difference between a good and a rather bad review)

With so many choices it is always a lottery picking the right hotel, I hiked the Inca Trail and my wife spent time exploring Ollantaytambo then met me here so that we could both go up and see Machu Picchu together. We wanted an inexpensive, but comfortable hotel for a few nights and that is exactly what we got. And I must say the breakfast was particularly good. And bonus points, Paddington Bear sits on the park bench right outside out bedroom window.

Staff where great. The location is excellent. Breakfast was very good and the lady serving was super. Shower was excellent lots of pressure.
