The location is incredible - situated in Machico, the city is very calm and quiet, and only a 25 minute drive from Funchal. It is very close to the airport which was a great benefit when going to the property for the first time. There's the wonderful Machico beach within walking distance, as well as a Continente shopping centre where you can get your groceries. Check-In process was simple - you put in the code and get the keys. All communication is done through Whatsapp with the rental company - they send you a video with instructions on the house. The house is spacious and as advertised. Any issues are promptly fixed. The owners are very hospitable - we went on a hike with them, they also gave us their homemade wine and brought fruits from their garden. There are a few cats visiting the house regularly, which was a welcome sight every morning, we made friends with one orange fella.

Very clean, comfortable, convenient. There are towels and all kitchen utensils. Located 15 minutes from the sandy beach, 10 minutes walk to the supermarket and the centre. Very friendly owners. They showed us the surrounding area and the best places for tourists, treated us to their own wine and fruits from the garden. Thanks to Louise and Marley for the company. I recommend! The organization of arrival, stay and departure was organized at the highest level. Thanks to the management company.

Very nice owners. Their beautiful cat was visiting us every day. 😻 We had some maintenace problems, and owners dealt with it emediately, so it did not effect on our stay.
