Short hop from the airport with beautiful views from the balcony & great facilities. Proximity of the apartment to Machico which was both registration point & finish of the MIUT race we were taking part in.

This place was great! I think Machico gets overlooked because it's not Funchal, but I think if you are driving, this is the place to be. The grocery store is super close, the airport is super close, car rental (Tangerine) is super close. There was free parking, and the streets by it were very quiet. Even driving to Funchal is like 10min. I would definitely recommend saving money and booking a place in Machico. Overall the apartment was clean and VERY spacious, even an extra office room if you need it. I also appreciated that there was a washing machine with laundry pods and a drying rack included. Rarely get that. The bedroom is basic and does the trick, but don't expect anything super comfy. LOTS of closet space however! Everything was clean and mostly worked well. Would stay again!

The cleanliness, the gorgeous view especially the sunrise from the east. The easy access by car with ample parking, close proximity to Machico town centre, and very close to a big supermarket. The proximity to the airport runway was not a problem at all as the planes were very infrequent and not very loud. The mattress was big, firm and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets to stay cosy and warm. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The communal areas of the building were clean, neat and no issues with our neighbours.
