Forte Bay apartments are ideally placed in Machico to explore and find all the lovely bars, restaurants, shops etc. To say they are in the midst of bars etc, it is very quiet. The rooms were spacious, well furnished and the bed was so comfy! The apartment was very tastefully decorated. Also, well equipped, although we did not really use the kitchenette facilities available. The lift was also a life saver after coming back from long days out, as we were in apartment 4. The addition of the laundry room was also welcome.

We stayed in these apartments as a family (with my wife and young daughter), and overall, we really liked the place. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped — it had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to the main attractions and public transport.
