The location was perfect for us - we arrived by train and were then based in the town centre for our stay - visiting friends etc. Check in was easy, bed was comfortable, room had everything we needed - I liked the soap and the little tea tray items. Host's messages were lovely and we felt we'd be looked after if we needed anything. We didn't try the restaurant or bar downstairs as we had plans to meet friends nearby but it looked nice and staff were friendly.

Super quirky little room which felt very homey, honestly the best location and on friday night the bar downstairs was literally one of two places in the town we found with people/life. Incredibly comfy bed!

We didn't really know much about this Hotel before we arrived so were pleasantly surprised about the room, particularly its size! The owner has gone to a lot of trouble to decorate it & provide all comforts. The room & bathroom were clean & the bed was very comfortable. There's a lovely bar / restaurant underneath that seems to be extremely popular. They had a DJ on while we were there but that stopped at 8pm so wasn't an issue - after that we heard no noise at all. It's right in the middle of Macclesfield and we were lucky enough to be there when the monthly markets were on. The markets are full of food places, artists & craftsman. Parking is in a parking area around the corner. We met the owner by chance at a separate location, she could see we were a bit lost & went out of her way to stop & offer help. It was only by chatting for a short while that we found out she owned the Hotel we were staying in. Such a lovely lady!

The hotel is nice. The room (on the top floor) was spacious and clean (I was worried when they said they accept pets but there was no hair or smells). The location is excellent in the centre of Mac with parking nearby. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially the owner who was lovely. I am sure I will stay here again in the future.
