The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.Please note that on Saturdays and Jewish holidays check-in is only available after 18:00.

I would categorize this as a family friendly hotel. So this is a place you could bring your kids to and let them run around and safely enjoy the open spaces. The staff were incredible: the dining room staff, receptionists, cleaning staff were all friendly, patient and professional. This is saying a lot because I went at the busiest time of year in school holiday when the place was packed with little kids and I never saw a single staff member losing his or her patience. I was blown away. The rooms are new and clean. The grounds are well kept. The location is amazing, Quiet and close enough to towns and attractions in northern Israel.

We loved everything about our stay. There was something for everyone. Fun activities at night. Lots of entertainment for the kids even though the adults and older kids spent most of the day by the pool. The pool was a huge highlight! Very relaxed vibe! Good music and excellent lifeguard! The lifeguard was so friendly but also took his job seriously and we really loved being greeted every day by him! We loved our stay at Hacienda and won't hesitate to book again!
