Manager was really nice. I left a small item of mine at the hotel but he offered to help me retrieve it. It saved my travel. Location is prime. Next to a very lively Christmas market. Good place for a stay over.

I liked the layout of the room as I was initially very concerned with its small size. I was pleasantly surprised by the skylight (I was on the top floor which is the one floor above the 5th (the lift doesn't reach this attic floor, so one has to walk up 1 and a half flight of stairs). The single-bed room, bathroom and toilet were adequate for a 1-night (or even short 2-3 day stay) for 1 person. I was impressed by the cleanliness too. I chose this location because it was just a 4-min walk from Gare Perrache (for Flix Bus/SNCF and Tram stations). Within walking distance, there are boulangeries, small eateries and a supermarket. It also feels safe to walk around. Oh, and there was complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate which one has access to next to the reception. This was another pleasant touch to this small hotel.

The hotel is very close to metro stations and bus routes and has plenty of cafes, shops and markets nearby. The hotel was lovely and, since I speak no French, was really glad that the team were able to give me all of the information I required in English. The room was on the top floor, maybe a new refurbishment as it was clear that they had been having work done, so the bathroom was very fresh and the room was clean and warm. I was staying for a couple of nights for work so really only needed a place to sleep and shower so had booked a single but was given the double on arrival. I had a lovely stay.
