The bar, food and breakfast were brilliant, we enjoyed the games available in the lounge area. The area around the hotel is excellent for walking. The staff were very helpful , even when busy.

We had a wonderful experience at Dartmoor Inn. Even before we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — they called us while we were on the way, concerned that we might miss dinner as the kitchen was about to close. Thanks to their thoughtfulness, they prepared our food in advance and brought it straight to our room when we arrived. After a long journey, this gesture made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. The room was comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was consistently friendly and attentive. Breakfast the next morning was also very good, with a nice variety of fresh options. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for great hospitality and personal touches that make a real difference.

This is a lovely place to stay. Didn't stay for breakfast, but had the most wonderful evening meal. And the surrounding countryside is beautiful.
