A nice two up two down cottage, very tastefully decorated, and furnished, easy parking, just a few meters up from the cottage; great communication with the manager of the property who responded to messages promptly and was v helpful. A beautiful spacious main bedroom, with a lovely view. The double bed has a firm mattress. The village was great with a good local shop in walking distance and beautiful walks if we went further up the hill. The local pub wasn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The village itself was in a great location close to the mountain biking centre in the forest of dean, and close to a lovely stretch of the river wye and picnic area just half a mile down the road, within walking distance. It was possible to lock our bikes up in the little courtyard garden.
