Oh, my goodness, this hotel is heaven. It's basically a small, quiet, classy resort. We opted for a "Room with Pool View", and were thrilled when we got there to realize that meant we had direct access to the pool area from our patio on the ground floor. We had Room 007, a huge, well-appointed suite with fabulous kitchen and dining area, close to the entrance to the underground parkade for easy access to the car. The staff members were so helpful and welcoming, and we just loved our consistently superb and abundant breakfasts in the shaded poolside restaurant. We also indulged in reasonably priced drinks and snacks at the bar in the afternoons (the house white wine is excellent), and delicious pizza and salad some evenings. We did actually leave the hotel every day, but we could have easily stayed there the whole time. It's a short, pleasant, flat, safe walk along the ocean into Luz, and I highly recommend the "robalo" (sea bass) at Jacaranda if you're looking for dinner out. We particularly enjoyed and appreciated the distinct lack of loud booming pop music around the property. It felt like we had the whole gorgeous place to ourselves, and we were there at the beginning of the peak season in early June.
