The grounds and pool area are absolutely second to none and very well maintained. The location of the hotel is also perfect for exploring Luxor. A young concierge lady was able to help me with a difficult train booking situation even though it took her over an hour or phone calls and other help, she was really fabulous.

Old English hotel. Very comfortable. Very good meals. Beautiful garden. Close to Luxor Temple. Sunset on the Nile. Strongly recommened.

We had a room at the front side of the old building with a small balcony and beautiful view over the Nile. The breakfast was great with extensive choices. We enjoyed a great Christmas dinner, that was served by very friendly staff.

The old school charm of this beautiful old hotel cannot be replicated. The staff were all excellent and were clearly genuinely invested in us having a wonderful stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location on the Nile was fantastic! In the evenings there was live music in the bar. The pool is hard to beat in Luxor. We had a fantastic stay!
