The Retreat Center is a a green Oasis and nice spot for relaxation. Khaled and his son Ahmad prepared good breakfasts and are very kind. The location is close to the valley of the Kings.

Our stay at Sekhmet Retreat Center was amazing. The staff took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They helped us plan excursions and get around the city. Karim and and Khaled were exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Felt like we had our own private nature oasis.

It’s beautiful property with a gorgeous garden and lovely pool. There is a mosque right next door but did not impose my schedule. There is a convenience store also just next door also which is great. This is NOT a hotel, it’s a homestead, what this means is it’s got a garden so of course there’s is bugs , there is no restaurant but there is Khalid (main guy at the property) and Ahmed who will make you a lovely wholesome breakfast. The staff a welcoming and kind. We really enjoyed our stay , it was a true recharge and breath of fresh air.
