Loved the location, we much preferred the quieter west bank than the hectic east bank. Also, nice and close to VoK and Hatshepsut etc. Close to ferry terminal but for us as a family of 4 it was even easier to get a motorboat from right outside the apartment to take us straight across the river to Luxor temple for 100egp. Mohamed who manages the place is brilliant, really good communication in the run up to and during our stay. Organised a driver for the day for us to take us to Hatshepsut and VoK which was really good value (about a tenner if I remember rightly) as was another driver who he organised to take us to Aswan via Edfu and Kom Ombo. Place is fully kitted out with everything you need, including a washing machine. View from the roof is really nice as well. Good value shop just around the corner (Hamada Market) who doesn't rip you off and superb restaurant (Nile Freedom) which does amazing great value food and beer. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a great experience at House of Dreams. It’s in a lovely and quiet location, close to the Nile and there were some great food choices nearby too. Muhammad was the perfect host, super friendly, always showed up on time, even for last minute requests and made sure we were getting everything we wanted. Definitely recommend if you wish for a quieter retreat when in Luxor.

Legitimately one of the best places we stayed in Egypt. A clean 2 bedroom apartment with fully stocked kitchen and laundry, 2 balconies with a river view. 10min walk to ferry in a quiet neighbourhood with really nice corner cafe and supermarket. Really nice locals around the area. The team were on time to meet us for check in, then left us to it and gave us heaps of privacy, checking in via messages to arrange housekeeping and make sure we were okay. Couldn’t recommend enough, would love to come back Only down side is wifi doesn’t reach the first floor apartment, but works on the roof terrace.

Mohammed the host was amazing, very kind and very helpful, great location with a view of the valley of the kings, the river Nile right in sight of the accommodation and friendly locals
