Having lived in this area for many years, before we moved away in the Summer we were aware of the location by the River Lea. The buildings have been restored to a high specification. The location suited our purpose for an overnight stay, and Katie was a lovely host

We were welcomed with a friendly face. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Would have liked another armchair. Room was very quiet, just what we needed after a long drive.
