It's the overall care that they have for the guests. We were lucky to have the room with the huge balcony that had great views over Luso. I can't remember ever sleeping so well in a hotel room. The bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful old family-run hotel in a central location, easy to find and with a few private parking spaces for earlybirds. The owner collects antique clocks, many are on display in reception, the lounge and dining areas. The whole place had a historic and quirky feel, which we loved. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we especially appreciated the firm mattress and quality bedding. The pool and pretty garden were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and a very reasonable €5 per person

Ww were travelling with my husband and our friend. The hotel is nice looking and in the town centre. The only negative thing- there was no air conditioning in the room. The fan was working all night without proper cooling. It was hot day, so, the sleep was not so comfortable. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and caring. Breakfast was simple, but up to the standard. The swimming pool is small, however, it is maintained well and we enjoyed the swimming. The hotel has own carpark, but you need to be a skillful driver to get out. You can feel the spirit of Portugal in this hotel. So, generally, we had a good stay. Thank you for your hospitality
