Power outage notice: due to the country's energy deficit, there are power outages and Mkango Golfview has a 21-hour supply with 3 hours reserved for genset service in a daily basis when the national schedule is off between 01:00AM TO 04:00AM every other week.

I travel regularly for work, and this hotel ranks in my top three. I was here for five days as a trainer. This is quite simply a hotel & conference centre done right. Amazing and abundant staff; many trainees but what they lacked in experience they made up in enthusiasm and eagerness to do things right. Top class kitchen. Perfect breakfast, excellent day-time snacks, and an evening choice of either bar meal or proper dish, both prepared with lots of fresh ingredients. Compliments! Also, fantastic espresso & cappuccino's in the coffee bar. The grounds that surround the hotel - with a small herd of grazing impalas and a pleasant pool - give the place a relaxed atmosphere.

I booked it for my mom, she loved every minute of it. I was able to talk to the staff directly even though I am in a different continent and they were able to assist with all the arrangements and looked after my mom 🙂

Ideally situated for a quick entry/exit to/from Lusaka. Pool and restaurant were ideal. The resident impala were a surprise bonus.
