“Great choice and no regret”

The building has 4 stories, where the roof floor is used for drying their blanket. We were accommodated on the 2nd floor. The host only opened up 2 rooms so there is another room accommodated by someone else on the 1st floor. We stayed for 2 nights but have never met up with the 1st floor guests before. The ground floor is a shared area with a water dispenser and tea bags. We can have a good rest here before climbing up to the 2nd floor due to some distance walk back from the tourist area. The room is large with 2 double beds and a Japanese style sitting area where you can actually lay on for tv with Netflix enjoying a cup of non caffeinated tea drink. Location is a bit far from the tourist area but it is worth walking for the comfortable environment. Johnson has warned us on the location while we made the booking as he understands we are from overseas do not have transport to move around. Anyhow, we have made the right decision to stay here. Due to the long weekend holiday in Taiwan we are afraid we might not be able to get a seat on the public bus to Lukang. We are so lucky that Johnson has offered us a lift to and from the train station. Thanks a lot to our host.

“Very pretty Japanese style guesthouse”

Excellent guesthouse that was very new and tastefully designed. Although I didn’t meet the owners, they were really helpful and responsive with all my queries. From local food recommendations to guidance on parking and access of the guesthouse, everything was super clear. The rooms are very big and spacious for 4 people, and the bed very comfortable. You can tell that they are of high quality. There were also nice details like pineapple tarts and a printed card. Location is about 20 mins to the old town in a very safe and quiet alley. Great place!
