It was a lovely place. Everything was very thoughtful, pretty and clean. The breakfast was amazing and the host an absolute sweetheart. The location was also perfect and the ticket for the bus was included.

We had a wonderful stay at Guest House Castagnola. The property is beautifully and tastefully renovated, with a perfect blend of charm and modern comfort. Our apartment was spacious, stylish, and spotless, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The location is fantastic peacefully tucked away in Castagnola yet conveniently close to public transport, making it easy to explore Lugano. There are also beautiful walking paths nearby, perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings. Kristina was an exceptional host warm, welcoming, and always available for anything we needed. We traveled with our little dog, and he was just as warmly welcomed and happy as we were. We truly felt at home and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Kristina is an exemplary hostess, she showed me to my room even though I arrived very late in the evening. The room was impeccably clean, well appointed and very cosy. Breakfast was fantastic, even though I threw in a ‘gluten-free’ curveball at 10:30 the previous evening. A sign of great service is going the extra mile - that’s exactly what I experienced. No wonder there are so many repeat guests.
