The house is very near to the lake. Very comfy and beautiful. if you are from lugano station with big luggage, stop at Casserate, Monte Bre bus stop. If you plan to go to Monte Bre. Monte Bre Funicular is just walking distance behind the house. Migros is walking distance to get your groceries or 1 stop bus ie Casserate, Lanchetta. Since we stay during autumn/winter, the house is kinda chill even though the heater is on full blast. Maybe because we asians we do not use indoor shoes and we were barefooting on cold tile in the house. So one tip, bring extra socks or indoor slippers. All the pots pans, cutleries, crockeries are complete. They do not have washing machine in the house but I saw washing machine and dryer at 0 level on my way out. May need to ask first b4 using it. For family with small kids, if you close all windows, you do not have to worry about your kid shouting, jumping, tromping etc. All in all, cosiest and convinient place to stay in Lugano. Tq !
