The Old Star and Garter is a very spacious, comfortable and clean self-catering apartment, everything was provided. There had been some comments about the uneven floor and the stair access, but neither of these were a problem and added to the charm of the old building. The very large bed was very comfortable, and the washing machine was appreciated. It has a great location, only a short five-minute walk (although up a moderate hill) to central Ludlow market square, castle, many great pubs, restaurants and shops, the market and assembly rooms. Chippy, Chinese, Indian and Feathers Pub very close, as well as Tesco for kitchen supplies. Close to the train station too.

Excellent town centre location with the added bonus of a designated parking space. A quirky 2nd floor apartment with a slightly awkward floor.

The location was perfect and parking was a boon. The flat was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable.

It was a short walk from Aldi and Tesco. The bed was comfortable. The caretaker was available, and pleasant. Didn't seem to mind when I called him.
