It’s our 2nd visit to the same cottage. Perfect size for the two of us and our small dog. It’s warm, cosy, and has everything you could want. Its location is good for getting around Northumberland, only a couple of miles off the A1 and only 3 or 4 miles from Bamburgh Castle. The local pub is really good, they want you to book online, good choice of options and reasonable prices. They also do breakfast, £20 per person, which seems a lot but includes buffet, cooked and coffee etc, so again, it ok when you break it down. It’s dog friendly as well.

Loved that this place was dog friendly and had some outside space. Great little self contained unit. Perfect for our requirements and it was dog friendly.
