Guests can use local buses free of charge with their booking confirmation. From Lucerne Train Station, please use lines 1, 11, 14, or 20 until the Eichhof stop. Hotel is nice, beds are comfortable. The triple room actually has three proper beds instead of one sofa bed. Hotel provided visitor pass so all of us staying in the hotel room could have free public transport within the city centre. Despite not being directly in city centre, this meant could take the bus from the stop right outside the hotel straight to centre in less than 10 minutes. Buses are very frequent until late at night and area is safe. Also, hotel allowed us to store luggage after check out so we could explore on the last day too.

“We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Spatz in Lucerne. The administrator was very friendly and helpful, and it was great to have the flexibility of an early check-in or leaving the car in the hotel’s parking. We also really appreciated the guest tickets, which allowed free trolleybus rides to the city center and even discounts on the lake boat trip. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything needed for overnight stays. A good choice for visiting Lucerne.”
