We loved the position of the apartment which is within the walls of Lucca, 15 minutes walk from the station. It is a lovely traditional flat which is very well equipped . From the windows you look out into the town, can just see the Guinigi tower with the tree from the kitchen window. It’s also very quiet and very spacious. you see bats and swifts swooping about in the evening. The position of Lucca is ideal, great for day trips to Florence (we came to see the Rothko exhibition) Montecatini, and easy from Pisa airport. A beautiful town, plenty to do and some fantastic places to eat. Margherita lives next door and is very helpful but not at all intrusive.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment, period furniture and in a very good central location. A warm welcome from Margherita who was helpful and accommodating as we arrived a little later than anticipated. The welcome pack and information provided was very useful, with many local tips, As a group of five friends we enjoyed staying here, rooms were large and the spacious kitchen area became our focal point. Two decent sized bathrooms met our needs well. Comfortable bedrooms and shutters made for peaceful night's rest. Generally a quiet location with limited noise from street level was a bonus. Overall, a spacious apartment, with a view of The Guinigi Tower from the kitchen made this a very comfortable stay that provided great value for money.

The accommodation was beautiful, set in a charming old building full of history. Our family of 6 had everything we could have needed. We were so close to everything. Excellent eateries, fantastic shopping and many tourist attractions. We were truly spoilt for choice. The accommodation was clean and beds were comfortable. The host Margherita is very helpful, but never intrusive. She responded promptly to any questions and provided great suggestions for local supermarkets and restaurants. The stairs leading to the gorgeous unit were well worth the effort and provided a great start to the day. Lucca is a magical place!

The apartment is very well located and makes it so easy to explore Lucca as well as to get to the train station to explore nearby towns. The host was very accommodating around our check in times. She also had some toys that our two boys could play with which was nice. The apartment is a good size, we had plenty of space to relax, cook and sleep.
