Fantastic location between Basilica San Frediano and Piazza dell Anfiteatro. Everything is a just short walk away. The room was modern, well laid out, spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. There's a shared kitchen with everything you could possibly need for your stay. A brilliant coffee machine! We made our own breakfast in the apartment most mornings. Manuel is an excellent host and was there every day to clean and always answered any messages promptly. We would definitely stay again if we're ever back in Lucca. We did parkrun on the Saturday morning, the start was an ideal mile warmup around the city wall (or much closer if you cut across town!)

We loved our stay in Il Vicolo. This beautifully restored and tastefully decorated old building has been in Manuel's family for generations. Perfectly located in walking distance to explore Lucca. Superb traditional restaurants, magnificent architecture within the city walls. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen. Loved chatting with Manuel, a very friendly and helpful host. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Many thanks.
