Last minute booking with a beautiful interior art. Bed was comfortable. The hotel staff went out and beyond by walking us to the nearby restaurant as it not safe.

Excellent value for money in Luanda - the staff were super friendly and helpful. We liked the decor of the place and the rooms were clean (though the rooms were tired and could use a bit of a paint). We had an excellent evening meal there (so can happily recommend eating supper there!).

I have travelled to over 140 countries and I can tell you honestly that this is one of my favourite hotels. Why? When you arrive for the first time in a new country - in this case, Angola - you want the following: A safe, comfortable hotel with a good location. You also want staff who are friendly and will go out of their way to help you with their local knowledge. I experienced all of this and more at Art House. All of the lads working there are top class professionals. They helped us with everything we needed help and advice on such as getting bus tickets, helping with taxi transfers, advising on local food, etc etc. The hotel itself has a superb location on a beautiful strip of coast near the excellent Malibu beach restaurant. The property is beautiful with lovely art work, a rooftop area to relax and enjoy views of the city, great comfortable rooms, and a very decent breakfast. All in all, Art House is a true home from home in Angola; the perfect place to begin your Angola adventure...and it is the perfect place for us to end it when we fly out of this fascinating country. Big thanks to all of the staff at the hotel - it is you who make this place what it is!
