A lovely inn with plenty of character in a beautiful part of the Lake District. Evening meal was very enjoyable. Bed was comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is incredible. The property itself was cosy & comfortable. The pub/restaurant next door had an open fire, an excellent section of drinks and the food was absolutely delicious. We had our evening meal there & breakfast, and both were highly rated. We also got a parking space (two cars) no problem, though the car park was getting busy after we arrived.
