Nice location for a night out lovely walk 2 minutes out the back down the Hamble river path , stopped at a restaurant/ bar Riverside social for a lovely drink out side also a very good meal in the adjacent pub . Lots of facilities if you want to eat in the accommodation also and the pool was a added bonus . A good night was had

It is lovely. Surprisingly quite. Has everything you need plus a very good pub next door for good food. Has a pool for your use.

It is situated next to a pub which has a good selection of food and drinks. It opens at 12.00 but if you want breakfast there are several places within walking distance ( the Seahorse in the boat yard, the Jolly Sailor and Harpers) we had fabulous weather so used the pool daily which was great. The cottage was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a shopping centre which has Waitrose and other shops at Locks Heath which is a short drive (approx 10 mins).
