I will be honest and say i wasnt sure about this place from the photos but i am happy to report it is way nicer than it looks. We had apartment 3 which was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful tile floor, a quite comfortable bed and an ok little kitchen (you probably wouldnt want to cook a full meal in it but fine for coffee and reheating) The real star of the apartment was the balcony! It is really large, about 160 cm (5ft) deep with a clear glass railing so the view was unobstructed. The place is about 50 meters up from the waterfront which is a bit of a walk but worth it for that view! The walk was well lit at night. Parking was good. Off the road and easy to access. The woman who runs the place is lovely - chatty and bubbly and despite not speaking english made herself very clear lol. All in all a great stay.

Balcony with sea view, very kind staff, Nice apartment & close to several beaches (10 or 15min by foot - a walk down). After spending time at the beach you need to walk up, which can be a bit exhausting.

Great apartments with an amazing view. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and there is also parking available. It’s about a 5–7 minute walk to the sea. Just keep in mind that the walk involves a very steep climb up and down, so if you’re traveling with a child, it’s something to consider.

If you would like to experience real Istra, you should stay local. Villa Kubo was our perfect choice. Very pleasant host. Mr Jakob and his wife made us feel like we were home away from home. Tasty breakfast and nice morning conversation . Peaceful place and a stunning view from the balcony. Sea view during the day and Rijeka lights at night. Just perfect.
