The lady manager was really flexible with me, I very much appreciate this as I needed the flexibility at this time. She let me choose from a few room options to find one that suited my needs (was quieter). I found one that I felt most at home in.

This is our second time at Metropole, love the location in relation to the Domain. Can be a bit hilly to get to the Hotel but there is the option of 30 steps down to a level area just outside the domain. Food is standard French Breakfast and as we stayed bed and breakfast only we had the option of eating at the multiple Restaurants nearby. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, on our departure day we had trouble booking a taxi but the receptionist was extra helpful and managed to get our taxi in the end., I would suggest prebooking a taxi to the airport if you are leaving on a Friday. Rooms are standard but nice and quiet considering location, found bed really comfy and room staff very inobtrusive. Looking forward to booking same room next year.

Conveniently situated but typical of all rooms I have stayed in Lourdes. Small, rudimentary, in need of a lick of paint. Staff friendly. Breakfast same as every other hotel in Lourdes. Bed was not comfortable and very creaky

Car parking on site was a bonus (but had to be paid for). It was clean and the rooms were serviced every day. Its location was very convenient for the grotto and churches. The town’s restaurants and cafes were close by.
