I stayed off season, booked on the day and Fabien gave an exceptional service even though it was his day off. Quiet central location on a cul-de-sac, felt safe as a solo female traveller, facilities are old which I found quite charming especially considering how clean the place was. It has a lift. Overall a lovely simple place that seems well cared for regardless of age. I would definitely stay again.

The main reason why we booked Le Petit Languedoc was the free parking, given that the city of Lourdes has decided to make all the parking areas paid.. that too for limited time and exhorbitantly expensive. We were going to cancel the trip, but then I found the Petit Languedoc. It's very convenient to walk to the Sanctuary, which is about a 12 minute walk along the river. It's close to the Irish pub and Entre 2 "O", a little restaurant that we love. So for us it was a perfect location. The hotel had everything that we wanted. A pleasant Reception Manager greeted us. The hotel was extremely clean. The rooms are cleaned every day as I heard staff in the mornings, but we did not have our room cleaned as my husband did not leave the room while I was at the Sanctuary. It has an elevator, which is useful for people with mobility issues. The hotel was quiet while we were there and even though there were quite a number of other guests we did not hear any noise. The room itself is extremely well equipped for the visitor who wants to spend more than a night in Lourdes, and I was especially pleased to see that there were a large number of drawers, so that I could unpack propertly for the few days we were there. Was happy to see that there were extra blankets available in the wardrobe, along with a number of different types of hangers. Thankfully the weather was not cold enough to need the extra blankets. They also kindly provided the extra pillows I had requested. The hotel does provide individually packed soap packets and shower gel, both of which were appreciated. I haave to say however that some aspects of the shower room were not perfect, event though we appreciated the water pressure which was excellent with lots of hot water.
