An extremely warm and friendly welcome, which continued throughout our stay. We stayed in a family room, with a very comfy king size bed, and two 'proper' single beds. We were visiting my son at Uni, and it was really lovely for his teenage brothers to have 'decent beds', rather than the 'Zed beds/sofa beds' which often come with family rooms. It's a truly unique and lovely place to stay, crammed with pictures, ornaments and pieces, that bring back memories, and provide lovely talking points and quirky pieces to enjoy. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served in style! The hosts were also very happy for (Uni Son) to join us for breakfast, at a very reasonable extra charge. Our stay was brief, but, from the moment we arrived, tired, at 10pm, to when we left, we felt so welcome. You can also call them direct before booking, and they will help you with what room suits your needs best, for facilities, accessibility etc... We couldn't have been happier with our room. If you are looking for 'modern and clinical', this is not the place for you, head to the Premier Inn or the Travelodge. If you are wanting cosy, warm and unique, then stay here 😊

Loved the decor with lots of lovely pictures throughout the house. The bed was very comfy, everything was nice and clean. Breakfast very tasty and very nice coffee! The hosts are lovely. Will definitely be staying again if this way.

Loved our room - it’s size, the comfortable large bed and all it’s unique features and furnishings. Great breakfast and great service.
