We spend one week at Casa Sophie to explore La Palma. It was a great place to do so. It's on the dry side of the island and some hikes are quite close by. Not really walking distance, but good to get to by car. A special recommendation to La Cumbrecita - be sure to reserve a parkingspot (for free) via the website. During our stay we had two rainy days. Turns out it never rains there, because a small leak was discovered. Within very little time, people were there to fix it and we were offered some extra food and wine for our troubles. Eduardo was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay. We were brave enough to go into the pool (second week of October), but it was a bit too cold for us. We did enjoy the rest of the outside place a lot! The whole covered area is like a second livingroom, while enjoying the outside weather. We spend most of our time here either when it was raining or sunny. Definity recommend staying here!
