The Lorne Hotel is quite old, but it’s been thoughtfully refurbished over the years. Our Family Room and the accommodation area were well fitted out with a laid-back, coastal feel — soft colours and stylish fixtures throughout. It’s directly opposite the Surf Club, so the location is very central. There’s limited guest parking at the rear of the building. The two rooms were spacious, with ample storage, tea and coffee facilities in one of the rooms, extra blankets, and both had split-system air conditioning — which was excellent.

Nice view of the ocean, clean and comfortable. For a room above the pub/hotel it was very quiet and felt extremely safe. Also didn’t hear road noise. Very nice place for a couple nights stay.
