Grand old chateau surrounded by beautiful countryside and the host Nicholas is so friendly and helpful

The breakfast was great and the guests were encouraged to make full use of the place. the communal rooms were large and comfortable and there was a big TV off in another area to watch the Olympics. There was a lovely swimming pool too with loungers

Situated conveniently off the motorway for an overnight stop. Beautifully renovated property with heaps of period charm and features. Warm and friendly welcome from the owner, who was responsive to our questions. Great breakfast.

Where do I start?! An exceptional property in a stunning location. Each room has it's own theme and is immaculate, along with being a generous size too. Nick, the owner and host, cannot do enough to help and is friendly too. The grounds are extensive and whilst it is very much a working set of paddocks for race horses there is lot's to explore. The swimming pool is in a great location, next to a small lake, and there is more to come.
