The sea view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! Waking up to that view every morning, and having breakfast on the balcony was amazing! We sat and watched boats coming in and out of the port all day. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The perfect escape from everyday life. The gardens were very pretty, with lots of flowers and fruit (lemon, apples)trees, as well as grapes. The swimming pool was well maintained and there was a mixture of lounge chairs and hammocks to lounge on. It is a family-run business, Keljko, the son of the owner, runs it, and is very friendly and helpful. They make their own wine, sold by the bottle, which was very good!

Superb view from balcony over the stunningly pretty bay. A mesh screen to the balcony kept the room insect free so we never shut the glass doors even at night; went to sleep with the stars, night air and sound of waves lapping on the shore 100 steps below. No sun on our balcony meant the room stayed cool, we didn’t use the air con. and got sunshine by the infinity pool surrounded by orange trees with the same spectacular view below. Lopud is a sweet quiet place, Lots of places to eat and drink along the waters edge, though we also cooked for ourselves. Lovely sea for swimming and snorkelling as sea is clear calm and full of fish, enjoyable short hike to Sunj beach on other side, ferries to Dubrovnik and neighbouring islands. Nice climate for mid September, A great week!

We had an amazing stay on Lopud! The accommodation is absolutely top-notch, probably offering the best view on the entire island. Our host Željko was extremely kind, approachable, and always ready to help with anything we needed – truly one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. There is also a pool with a breathtaking view over the island and the open sea. I’m usually not the type to use a pool when the sea is so close, but this one I simply had to try – the experience was unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff (a very friendly man and woman who worked alongside Željko) were so warm, kind, and attentive. Overall, the stay was a perfect 10/10. The only small downside is the number of stairs, which could be challenging for someone with limited mobility, but for me it was absolutely fine. Highly recommended – I’d definitely come back!
