I went to Longyearbyen for activities related to the University. The accommodation is really close to the university entrance and the museum (just a 5–10 minute walk). Moreover, there’s also a bus stop in front of the university with connections to the airport — extremely convenient! The staff are really kind and helpful in every situation. There’s a small grocery (and souvenir) shop that was very useful to me, because since I arrived on Saturday evening, the supermarket in Longyearbyen was closed on Sunday and only open for a few hours in the afternoon. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to be self-sufficient for a few days, and the rooms are very spacious and quiet. If I ever need to return to Longyearbyen, I will definitely stay at this place again.

The living room with a nice view on parts of the city was big enough to host friends around the table surrounded by twelve chairs. I appreciated your willingness to bring missing kitchen utensils
