Room was quite small, but otherwise very nice. Location is very convenient, especially if you arrive by train. All together the hotel was beautiful and the staff at the reception was very friendly.

All of the staff is excellent, i feel i need to point that out first! The location was excellent, next to the station and there is even a door opening in the station that can be used with the room card. there are shops in the station like M&S food, Nero coffee, Starbucks, pret a manger, and some food shops, accessories, boots farmacist and more. There is even a small mall, with more shops, sainsburys, and a floor with fastfood. The soak restaurant in the hotel is nice you can get food or just coffee and tea and the staff are so nice as well as all staff in the hotel. The complimentary minibar everyday. 2 bottles of water, chocolate drink powder, espresso capsules with machine, tea bags, mini fridge, some sweets and crisps. (tip..get some really cheap bottled water from sainburys inside the station mall and not from M&S). Nice beds comfy. Very clean hotel. Generally we all enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Beautiful historic hotel in a fabulous central location. Very impressive foyer, excellent breakfast choice, & the Soak Restaurant offers great food & cocktails .
