The hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of London. It takes just 30 minutes to get to Victoria station from Gatwick and then a quick bus number 38 takes you within 20 minutes to enjoy the luxury of Sofitel St. James. A lot of interesting historical and cultural places are situated 10 minutes walking distance.

Staff was lovely and friendly Breakfast was made fresh to you Room was spacious and comfortable. We asked for a cot for our 9 month old. There was a little toy there for her and was made up for her. On Christmas morning there was a stocking on the door for us. Very nice and festive for us.

Attention to detail. Location was superb. Klea the receptionist/guide was professional, personable and prompt. The lobby staff were great. Room service food was high end, and worth eating.
