Theng “Horrendous start but ended up perfect.”

Initially we were put into a 2BR unit close to the carter lane - airco was from the 1900s, extremely noisy, and the smell from the bathroom was just horrendous. I think we would have moved to another location, but the team was lovely and moved us to another room, which was perfect. Perfect for work, and quiet in the evening. Team was amazing, Gabrielle and Aranza were the best. We look forward to coming back to stay.

This place feels very special: 8 beautifully restored old houses , surrounding a hidden courtyard, in a quiet and very historic City setting. St Pauls cathedral is just a couple of blocks away- you can hear the bells! The hotel staff are based in the cafe/bar area which is just across the courtyard from the houses. We loved the feeling that you have your own apartment and can come and go, directly from Carter Lane, without going through a hotel "reception". The 1 bed apartment was very spacious and modern, with all the appliances and features that we needed, and all easy to find and use. The nearest underground station, St Pauls, is on the Central Line. It's only a 5min walk and that's a lovely walk🙂past St Pauls Cathedral and gardens, across the Paternoster piazza. The only negative is that the Central line is VERY old and has no AC. It gets very hot, humid, and crowded ( like sardines) at weekday rush hour, so ideally just remember to avoid that. You can walk most places instead.
