The fine print
Please note that the Studio, One-bedroom apartment and Superior apartment will have a sofa bed set up when there are 3 or 4 people selected. The sofa bed can be set up for stays of 2 people at a charge of £25 per night. Please contact the property using the details on the booking confirmation if you would like the sofa bed made.Guests must send a copy of their photo ID to the property 30 days prior to arrival.Marlyn Lodge has a self-check-in and check-out system. Please provide the cardholder's address at the time of booking in the Special Requests box.Please note, smoking is not permitted throughout the entire property. Guests found violating this rule will be charged a GBP 75 fee for cleaning.Service charge includes the following on weekdays only (excluding bank holidays): Towels, toiletries, washing up, bed making and tidying. Please note that the apartments are fully cleaned after check-out unless stay are longer than 7 nights. There is no cleaning during your stay unless requested.Please note there will be a GBP 15 charge for loss of keys.Please note there will be an extra cleaning charge of GBP 200 for excessive mess and/or rubbish left in the apartment after check-out, and if there are any stains in the property or any damage to the property.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Perfect little apartment located close to Aldgate underground station. Location is ideal as it’s not too busy around the area. A short walk to Tower Bridge, Tower of London and the Thames path. Huge bed and good size sofa bed. Kitchen had all the amenities needed. Including a hospitality tray with coffee tea etc. Bathroom is modern and a good size. The studio apartment is furnished nicely and includes an A/C unit which was a godsend. Apartment was clean and towels were refreshed on the 2nd day.

Great property, clean and with all the amenities required for our stay. Having a washing machine, wifi, AC and coffee machine were very handy during our one week stay. Close to hop and off bus, Tesco around the corner for ready made meals was very convenient. Perfect location. Would definitely return when back in London. Thank you to Andrew for the clear communications via email.

Excellent accommodation that ticks all the boxes. Very clean, loved that our towels were changed daily as needed and there was air-conditioning and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Great location, close to tesco, Starbucks, transport, attractions and great dining options. The staff were friendly and check in/out instructions easy to follow. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
