The location of the guest house, in a quiet, deep carved valley beneath one of Slovenia's highest mountains Mangart, is stunning. You can literally start hiking when you step outside the door. The room was comfortable and well-equipped and the breakfast, which was served in the beautifully restored outer building, was exceptional. Sitting at night in the backyard drinking wine and watching the light fade on the mountains, was a particular highlight. The young couple that run Gorska Roža are helpful and charming and you can sense the love they have for this special place that they've created. Highly recommended.

The Place Is beatiful and perfect for people Who wants to rest from the frenetic everyday life. The room has got Evert confort and there Is a big attention to the detail. The breakfasts were huge and tasty. Katia e Matjia were so kind and helpful with the clients all. We Hope to come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — truly a pleasure to meet. Our bedroom was spotless and well-kept, with a fully functioning fridge that came in handy. The highlight of our mornings was definitely the breakfast — absolutely spectacular, with fresh and delicious options that exceeded our expectations. We left feeling relaxed and well taken care of, and we’d love to come back again in the future!
